We are finally bringing in a range of de-alcoholised wine, ALTERNATIVA!
ALTERNATIVA is not grape juice. It is fermented grape must obtained by extracting alcohol from vinified wine through reverse osmosis, maintaining its organoleptic properties.
Are you curious? Here goes!

Do our de-alcoholised wines have any alcohol?
No, our microbiological analysis results states 0.0% total alcohol (%vol). We will provide halal certification upon request.
Does de-alcoholised wines taste the same as normal wines?
De-alcoholised wines tend to taste more sweet, because of the residual sugar left is not fermented till the end. Also the aromas are weaker because they need the alcohol to integrate and develop.
How is de-alcoholised wine made?
There are a 2 main methods to de-alcoholise wine : vacuum distillation and reverse osmosis. The alcoholic fermentation process consists of yeast breaking down sugars from the grape juice into ATP for cellular energy via phosphorylation. The by-products of alcoholic fermentation are ethanol and carbon dioxide. These processes extracts the alcohol by-product.
